Your Guidance From The Guides
I am having a rough time lately. I have to be honest, I am one of those people who puts on a happy and brave face and likes to pretend that everything is alright. But you know what I am talking about-those times when at every turn the Universe seems to be thwarting your efforts to achieve happiness and success. It happens to us all. But how we respond to it is what's important.
Throughout the last ten years I have had some serious health challenges. I have had some serious money issues. I have been through a divorce. I have lost my father. However, I am not one of those people that think I'm the only one who's had struggles - I understand that this is the human condition. This is life. We signed up for this program when we were on the other side. We knew what a wonderful opportunity it was to move us forward on our soul paths and with our soul growth.
It isn't easy at all sometimes though, and the recognition of this is important I believe. Sometimes we feel desperation, despair, sadness, frustration, and all of those negative emotions that we really don't want to have. We feel lonely, confused, isolated, angry and more. We feel blocked and hurt and cannot for the life of us figure out why the Universe would be singling us out to crap on!!
Through my challenges of late, I have felt almost all of these emotions. Even though I know that it isn't true and that the Universe hasn't singled me out to crap on, that is how it feels. Most all of us have heard about the laws of attraction. Avid supporters of this principle would be quick to remind you that you are drawing more negativity into your life by focusing on the negativity you are experiencing. "You are drawing it in". I have said those very words to people before, but does that help us when we are feeling really low?
I do believe in the laws of attraction, and the Secret, etc. For the most part, I agree that we get what we expect. But is this always the case? For instance I have agreed to experience health challenges and a very strict diet in this life. I am not attracting these things, my higher self has chosen them. I was not very compassionate to one of my soul group in a past life. She had severe diabetes before there were really tests and treatments for it, and I said things like, "It's not so hard, stop complaining."
Because of this, I have promised her that I will experience health challenges. These challenges have come in the way of Celiac Disease. I have autoimmune reactions to many foods, including wheat, dairy and sugar. Is this a soul contract? No, but my higher self has chosen it, and will not give up. So yes I do believe in the laws of attraction, but also know that there are a few loop holes.
But back to our discussion about feeling very low. Does it help to tell someone that it is their fault they are experiencing negativity? Does it help to tell them that they need to "get over it, because life's tough?" When we have challenges in life, do they make us hard and judgmental, or do they bring compassion and understanding to our hearts?
When you see that person struggling, maybe you have been there before. Maybe you will be there at some point in your life. Maybe you have seen a loved one experience this struggle. Recently I realized that I am hard on myself and others sometimes. My health struggles were making me frustrated, but they were also making me think, "Hey, if I can deal with this, so can you, stop complaining." Wow. I feel ashamed and embarrassed because that isn't what my illness came to teach me or show me. But I am learning, and I am proud to say that I am letting go of those old patterns that are so very ego-based in favor of living from my heart.

November Full Moon: November 13. "Full Beaver Moon - This was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze, to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. Another interpretation suggests that the name Full Beaver Moon comes from the fact that the beavers are now actively preparing for winter. It is sometimes also referred to as the Frosty Moon." From the Farmer's Almanac.
November 27 is Thanksgiving Day.
November 30 is the beginning of Advent. Advent begins 4 Sunday before Christmas. A wreath with four candles is set on a table. The first is lit on the first Sunday, and second on the second Sunday as so on. Many wreathes also contain a fifth Candle in the middle to be lit the morning of Christ's birth.
December's full moon is on December 12.

Guidance From The Guides
Many of my clients come to me and want change. They want a certain quality of relationship or career. We all truly want a happy and fulfilling life, but we often get in the way of that with our expectations and thoughts. It is the Law of the Universe that you get what you expect. Most of us have read The Law of Attraction by Esther Hicks, or the Secret (based on Esther Hicks channelings). We have seen these words before, they aren't really new, yet we continue to think negatively. "I could never have a great job I enjoyed and get paid doing it". "A great guy is never going to like me, I'm too fat!" "I can't get messages from my Guides and loved ones, that only happens to special people". Ladies and Gentleman - BALONEY!! All of it, baloney! We get what we expect, I cannot express that enough. So how do we change our thoughts? How do we get out of this vicious cycle of negative thinking?? It isn't easy, but we must think about what we want to happen instead of what we don't want to happen! We need to let go of our fears, learn to trust the Universe, and allow the positive changes into our lives. You may need to turn off the news, or stop reading the horrendous stories online and choose only to read more positive and uplifting stories. Does this mean that you don't do your part to bring about the needed change on our planet? Absolutely not!! It does mean that you stop feeding the fear! It does mean that you focus on the positive. It means you choose love, peace and abundance. Mother Theresa said, "I was once asked why I don't participate in anti-war demonstrations. I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I'll be there." Do you see her point? Don't focus on the fear, on what you don't want to have happen. Anti-war is still war! You may have a myriad of fears that affect your life on a daily basis. It is important to work through them sometimes, but it doesn't mean dwell. Affirmations are a wonderful way to overcome thought patterns that no longer serve you. When we take the time to think positive, positive things will happen! So back to Halloween; feel free to feign fright Friday, but let's all let go of our fears and make a conscious effort to visualize the best!! Let's draw in a new world. Let's choose to dwell on things that make our Spirit's soar. When we choose to put people and love first, things magically work out. Let's find ways to choose LOVE and release fear! The Queen of Owls and Direwood,both by Nene Thomas, have been discontinued. They are both sold out all over the internet. If you want these, now is the time, because we won't be able to get any more of them.
This Amy Brown six magnet set has also been discontinued. We bought up all they had left available. Each Magnet measures aprox 2 1/2" by 3 1/2.
Celebrate With Just Another Sunset
Midsummer is June 21
The Summer Solstice (Midsummer) is the longest night of the year. It is a night of fairy festivals and mischief. It is the second of the three Spirit Nights - which include May Eve, Midsummers Eve, and Halloween. The three spirit nights are when all kinds of spirits are free to roam around earth.
This day is also celebrated as a Fire and Water Festival during which participants take part in ritual baths and bonfires. Bonfires are lit as thesun sets, and the ashes are saved to create special amulets.
Midsummer is also known as Herb Evening. Special unique plants like fern seed which provide invisibility are available only on this night. Herbs in your garden are most potent now - toss some of them into your bonfire for protection.
